This wine proceeds 100% of the moscatel grapes from the slopes of Competa. It is obtained after a process of sunstroke of the grapes. A controlled fermentation of this wine produces naturally its alcoholic degree, without any chemical intervention .Wine experts find in this variety a fragrance of citrics when smelling it. Besides, you can also find more complex aspects, due to the sunstroke process and its elaboration (musk, honey, dry raisins, etc. ..)
Its taste is a balance between sweetness and acidity, and offers an evolution with a quite long and spaced end.
This wine of D.O. Malaga is pale: it has not been treated to any type of breeding, and ripens slowly in the bottle (through several years).
It goes very well as appetiser (to be served between 12 and 14 degrees of temperature) with blue cheese, Iberian ham or a “foie gras”; likewise it can be taken as dessert, offering a lot of interest for the modern cuisine.

| Seit vielen Jahren fahren wir nach Competa und haben den für uns besten Weißwein gefunden. Der feine, unaufdringliche Moscatgeschmack macht diesen Wein einzigartig. Es ist ein fruchtiger, trockener Wein. Diesen unverwechselbaren Geschmack haben wir bisher noch bei keinem anderen Wein erlebt. Er passt sehr gut zu mediterraner Küche. Jahrelang haben wir uns abgemüht die Flaschen im Gepäck per Flugzeug zu transportieren und sind glücklich, dass wir jetzt die Möglichkeit haben, unseren Lieblingswein nach Deutschland senden zu lassen. Das Olivenöl und der Honig sind auch sehr empfehlenswert. |
